But I don’t know what to do with those Tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs.

I have always been an avid reader. I read fiction and nonfiction.  When I read fiction - It's almost a guarantee I am reading a romance novel.

Someone to Watch Over Me
Lisa Kleypas
Again The Magic - Lisa Kleypas It was enjoyable, but it seriously got annoying how long Aline waited to reveal the truth. It made no sense why she continued to hurt - no, emotionally batter and scar - McKenna for flimsy and contrived reasons. I could understand why she sent him away and lied to him when they were teenagers, but after he returned, both of them adults, she should have come clean. Her reasons for not doing so weren't realistic. If she was as in love with him as she claimed, and she believed he loved her so much that he'd return to her no matter the cost, then surely she should have trusted her scars would not have prevented him from wanting to be with her. Her complete lack of trust in his love showed a great deal of immaturity on her part. I felt so bad for the poor guy. Even after he prostrated himself and begged her to marry him, she still coldly told him she didn't love him.... all because she didn't want him to see her scars? And then we're supposed to believe that the tiniest, slightest little nudge from her brother completely changes her mind about telling him? After she listened to his pleas and professions of undying love and anguish at her absence? Come on, girl! Get over it! I felt this story-line COULD have worked had the author given us a better, more logical reasoning for Aline's continued deception. Had a hard time with that one.

The secondary love story between Livia and Gideon was kind of meh, too.
