But I don’t know what to do with those Tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs.

I have always been an avid reader. I read fiction and nonfiction.  When I read fiction - It's almost a guarantee I am reading a romance novel.

Someone to Watch Over Me
Lisa Kleypas
The Marriage Bargain - Jennifer Probst This book had a good set-up and decent writing, but the characters were annoyingly immature. They were supposed to be around 28-30, but they acted more like they were 14 and 15 year-old kids living out a fantasy on some MTV reality show.

They also didn't seem to have much of a real motivation to be together. It was like suddenly they were in love for some reason, after scene after scene of their internal monologues telling the reader how much each disliked the other.

This was supposed to be a hero who has an ice-melting heart-warming turn-around, but I didn't feel it. Thhe character's changes were too abrupt. I didn't feel the motivation for any of the things they did or the choices they made.

It was all just very... superficial. Ultimately I was left with the sense that this couple will probably not last.
