The second book of this series was on par with the first in terms of quality. Definitely well written and creative in terms of plots and back stories. Just... something
is falling short. It's almost as if they are trying too hard to be really really hot when they're just kind of meh. Good, definitely interesting, definitely
enjoyable reads, just not fantastically
out-of-this-world good, ya know? Still, the series compels me to read the next one, which is, I suppose, the point.
